Difficult People are Teachers

I thank God for the difficult people in my life.  They taught me how not to live.  Some are still present in my life and continue to teach me the errors of their ways.

They constantly remind me that humility is a rare commodity and I am very blessed because God’s instruction is with me all the days of my life.

If I have to find a reason why I’m surrounded by difficult people, “connecting-the-dots” (Steve Jobs)…then this must be it  – to constantly remind me everyday not to be the kind of person who is arrogant, angry, proud, immature, negative, blabber mouth, dominant, and disrespectful of the young.

Awaiting for God’s instruction and blessing of what to do with these lessons.  Sometimes I’m hurting so much that I question myself why I still continue and choose to live with these kind of breed.  Isn’t it that we all have a choice and I chose to live with them?

We all have a choice!  Now this is a different topic altogether.  Some other time maybe.

The Need to be Grateful

I witnessed how a sick person longs to bring back the health he once had.  If only he took care of himself more when he was younger.  Regrets can never bring back the past.

Whenever we encounter people who could no longer nurse themselves to health, it should be a wake up call to change our lifestyle – an opportunity to turn around while it’s not too late. (more…)

Batman and His Robins

My eldest son was washing the dishes and I was mopping the floor when he suddenly felt like telling me about the different kinds of Robins in Batman’s life.  My mind went like, “You want to tell me what?  What makes you think I want to know about Batman’s Robins?”  Of course I didn’t say it out loud, I didn’t even know that there were a lot of Robins.  I just knew there were just one Batman and Robin, but no!  Apparently there was one Batman but many Robins.
